We love having the SMART board in our classroom...it really is our window and connection to the real world. Over time, I feel this tool will allow our students to become more competitive in the ever changing technological world. We have designed and adapted relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources. We feel these experiences have enhanced student learning and creativity. We have been able to customize and personalize learning activities that address students' diverse learning styles and they have been very excited to use the SMART board to achieve their goals. We use the SMART board daily for a variety of activites and are becoming more tech savy. "TIME" is the biggest challenge. There are so many resources and ways that this technology could be used in the classroom and there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. One of our classroom project learning goals is that our students would use digital media and technology to communicate and to work collaboratively to support their own learning and to contribute to the learning of others.
"When teams are truly learning, not only are they producing extraordinary results, but the individual members are growing more rapidly than could have occured otherwise". Peter Senge, 1990
